
Chad Brown, M.A., is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy for individuals and couples. Chad is particularly passionate about working with young couples considering marriage and married couples facing current challenges. In addition to Sex Addiction, Chad works with clients who struggle with substance abuse issues, underlying mental health disorders, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety.
Chad has also worked for the San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center in Van Nuys, CA, providing therapy for individuals and families in an outpatient setting. There, he also provided psychotherapy for young men incarcerated at the Barry J. Nidorf Juvenile Detention Facility. He has also provided crisis counseling and individual and group therapy to patients in an acute, voluntary psychiatric hospital in Van Nuys and at Camp David Gonzalez juvenile probation camp. Chad has also conducted workshops on parenting issues, such as building self-esteem and resiliency for children in centers throughout the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles area.
Chad received his M.A. in Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino, CA and now teaches at Phillips Graduate Institute as an Adjunct Faculty member. Chad believes that we all are in control of the choices that we make and that the healing and repairing of relationships is fostered through the therapeutic alliance. MFC #51712
