Jessica Tiegs is a Clinical Associate at Center for Healthy Sex. Her passion is for helping individuals and couples recover from past traumas in order to find one’s unique, authentic sexual expression. Previously she was the Clinical Director and the Family Therapist for a drug and alcohol treatment center. Jessica has experience treating drug and alcohol addiction, codependency issues, childhood trauma, and chronic self-harming behaviors.
Over the past several years, Jessica has worked at inpatient facilities, intensive out-patient facilities, and outpatient dual diagnosis facilities. She has been trained to utilize the following modalities to inform her treatment process: Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
Jessica earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University at Los Angeles and a bachelors from University of Colorado at Boulder. She is a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and NAMI (National Association for the Mentally Ill). LMFT #84367.
