Mara Gray, LCSW, MA, is a Clinical Associate at Center for Healthy Sex. Mara offers individual and couples therapy to address sex and love addiction, sexual dysfunction, and issues surrounding intimacy and relationships. Mara has worked in community health settings providing individual, couple, family, and group therapy. Mara is experienced in working with a diverse population, serving clients of varied ages, backgrounds, and mental health issues.
Mara believes in the importance of seeing every client as an individual with unique needs and goals. In order to meet her clients’ individual needs, she incorporates multiple evidence-based treatments including psychotherapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. She approaches therapy from a strengths-based framework, and believes that all clients have the ability to use intrinsic capabilities to meet their goals. She is passionate about helping clients connect with their authentic selves, allowing them to recognize and meet their full potential.
Mara earned her Masters in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin, with a focus on clinical social work. Her professional interests lie in the fields of sex addiction, sex therapy, attachment and intimacy issues, as well as the connection between sexuality and emotional well being. LCSW #81983
