Shereen Hariri is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and specializes in sex therapy in Los Angeles, collaborating with clients to help them become the healthiest version of themselves, whether individually or in intimate relationships. She has a particular interest in using art and creativity to enhance personal and sexual empowerment. In addition to working at Center for Healthy Sex, Shereen has spent four years at the Antioch University Counseling Center, in Culver City, providing community-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. Shereen received her BA from California State University in Northridge, CA, and completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles in Culver City. She has participated in a variety of trainings including: Trauma, Attachment, and the Body with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk in Newport Beach, Trauma Release with Dr. Peter Levine in Los Angeles, Clinical Sexology with Dr Patti Britton in Beverly Hills, AASECT National Conference in Austin , TX and she is a certified instructor of Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) in Los Angeles. Additionally she has facilitated workshops on sexuality at the Wright Institute in Los Angeles, and the Antioch University Counseling Center in Culver City, as well as at Center for Healthy Sex. Shereen is a member of The Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH) in Northern Georgia, American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), Washington, D.C. and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) in San Diego.
