Rouel Cazanjian, LMFT, CMT, SEP

Rouel Cazanjian is a proud experiential workshop facilitator for the intensives at Center for Healthy Sex.

Rouel, has over 30 years experience as a bodywork therapist and has been licensed as a psychotherapist since 2007. He has extensive training in body-oriented psychotherapy, including nine years of Biodynamic Therapy, developed by Gerda Boyesen, and four years of Somatic Experiencing, developed by Peter Levine. Rouel also completed a seven-year internship with Ron Alexander Ph.D., in Ericksonian hypnosis, guided imagery, and mindfulness, and completed two years of training in Focusing, developed by Eugene Gendlin.

Rouel is also a certified Walking In Your Shoes facilitator, and uses empathic walking techniques as the basis for his experiential workshops at CHS.

Rouel combines all of his training and influences to uniquely meet the needs of his clients in his private practice. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety disorders, couple’s therapy, complex trauma, and various addictions, all with the basic premise that the wisdom of the body holds the key to forward movement in therapy.
