FREE CE LECTURE!
1 CE available for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, LEPs, and psychologists

This introductory level lecture provides an overview of the body-mind disconnect as it relates to issues of erectile dysfunction. With erections being the most crucial element that most men use to define the strength of their masculinity, is it any wonder in our stressed out modern lives that men struggle more than ever with erectile dysfunction? The idea of not having a great, firm, reliable erection, really evokes anxiety and depression in men of all ages. But what if the key to those erections you love so much is really a connection to your heart? What if your socialized behaviors around masculinity, desire, and sexual expression are all wrong because they leave out one of the most vital elements of the masculine: your heart.

Learning Objectives:

  • Build awareness of body-mind connection in relation to sexuality
  • Explain how an erection can be affected by emotional intimacy
  • Discuss the importance of platonic affection between men
  • Recognize sexual dysfunction as an indicator for reevaluating approach to life choices
