Interactive webinar with Carol Juergensen Sheets LCSW, CSAT, CCPS, PCC on Post Traumatic Growth after Sexual Betrayal: How to Help the Addict and the Partner in this Relational Crisis

Sexual addiction causes devastation to a couple, but as they learn the skills to heal they can grow stronger and closer. Initially the couple’s trauma results in emotional instability, trauma and disconnection. Once the couple has sought intensive counselling with specialists in sexual addiction and partner trauma to repair this relationship by working through boundary ruptures and creating safety and stabilization, the couple is ready to work on developing trust and establishing emotional, physical and sexual intimacy. The final stage of this repair is called post traumatic growth.  In this webinar you will learn some new ways to identify the post traumatic growth that has occurred because of the arduous work that the couple has done in developing emotional and sexual intimacy.  There are always profound changes that have been accomplished because of this work, so find out how to view your relationship differently to continue to build your own inherent strength as well as to recognize your spouse’s growth and changes.
