We invite you to join us for an engaging and dynamic webinar conversation between a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and a Certified Forensic Law Enforcement Polygraph Examiner. Ken and Wes will discuss the common challenges that are presented around relational betrayal and how the strategic role of the polygraph has been instrumental in the healing process.

Ken Wells, MDiv, MA, LPC, CSAT, LSAC has 25 years of experience in treating sexual addiction and sex offender behavior. Specializing in confronting denial in addiction and treating the nuance of impact around sex offender behavior, he has experience at all levels of providing family treatment around the impact of addiction and conducts workshops on sexual addiction, shame reduction and spirituality. Ken holds a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary and has 23 years of pastoral ministry experience. He earned a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Ottawa University and is certified as a professional Counselor, Sex Addictions Counselor, and a Substance Abuse Counselor.

Wes Burns, MPA earned his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Seattle University. His undergraduate studies culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, which included emphases in psychology, sociology, and economics.

With over 13 years of distinguished service as a law enforcement officer and detective before transitioning to a full-time private polygrapher, Wes has conducted thousands of interviews and polygraph examinations. While seasoned in pre-employment and criminal specific exams, he has extensive experience in testing on sex-related issues in a clinical setting, in support of treatment and recovery, as well as for criminal matters including allegations of sexual misconduct and/or infidelity.

Wes is a Licensed Private Investigator in Arizona (Lic. #1620770), is a Licensed Polygraph Examiner in South Dakota (Lic. #143), and holds a Detection of Deception Examiner’s License from North Dakota (Lic. #D-00049). Wes is also a decorated U.S. Armed Forces Veteran, and served in both enlisted and commissioned capacities.
