Interactive webinar with Surrogate Partner Andrew Heartman on Surrogate Partner Therapy
Surrogate Partner Therapy. What is it? If you are the average person, you’ve probably never heard of it. Even when someone has heard of it, it has so often been misrepresented and misunderstood. In this presentation, a surrogate partner of 10 years experience takes us beyond the sensationalized media portrayals, illustrating and enlightening the viewer on both the specifics of this modality and its healing potential.
Andrew Heartman (he/him) has been a practicing surrogate partner for over 10 years. Andrew is passionate about overcoming misconceptions about Surrogate Partner Therapy. He is committed to spreading accurate information about the practice and its value. He has authored and delivered multiple educational presentations to different audiences, including students, teachers, therapists, and the general public. Therapists can earn AASECT continuing education credits by taking the series of courses he offers about how to collaborate effectively with surrogate partners. Additionally, as co-founder of the Surrogate Partner Collective and mentor to surrogates in the internship phase of their training, he is committed to elevating the professionalism of those who engage in surrogate partner work.
