Kayla Scripture is a Primary Therapist at Center for Healthy Sex. She has worked in secondary education, academic advising, and community mental health settings. Kayla believes in every individual’s inherent strength and uniqueness, and her therapeutic approach reflects this belief. By fostering a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space, she empowers her clients to address a wide array of challenges, ranging from sexual dysfunction and dissatisfaction to matters of gender and sexual identity, as well as issues like sex and love addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma. 

Kayla’s passion lies in helping individuals and couples cultivate healthier relationships, navigate conflicts constructively, and ultimately, flourish together. She is particularly drawn to supporting individuals and couples struggling with sexual dissatisfaction, dysfunction, and addiction, offering them a path toward transformation and fulfillment in their relationships.

Kayla earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and completed her training at Maple Counseling working with adults in an individual therapy setting. She has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
