Dr. Miles Reid will present the energetic view of sex, integrating science, Eastern thought and shamanistic perspectives, in an informal discussion that is intended to educate and stir creative thinking on how we perceive ourselves as sexual beings in the world today. We will focus on how can we add to our inner experience a secondary function of sexual energy as an evolutionary force. How can men and women use sexual energy to make the jump in consciousness that is needed today, a re-interpretation of the roles of women and men in society that can prepare us, as co-leaders, to enter deep into the 21st century.
- Describe how sexual energy affects the brain and body from a Shamanistic perspective.
- Explain 2 breath and movement practices for directing and increasing sexual energy within the body.
- Identify specific foods that increase and specific foods that decrease sexual energy or libido.
